New Years in Skopje
normal night as any other before. we were talking with my friends that the whole excitement is gone how you are getting older.
when we were kids, it was the only night when we were alowed to stay late. when we were in high school, we were looking forward to be in huge house on couple of floors, with 200-300 schoolmates, a bunch of good looking girls, a lot of drinking, dancing, partying etc etc.
but those years are long gone, now we can make new years selebration every day.
just go out, with good company, and have all the excitement that we were waiting for before for a year...every night...for me and my friends, that kind of day, was the day when i arrived in Skopje...we went to one of the best restorants in Skopje, so called "The Marshal", dedicated to Josip Broz Tito... with a lot of pictures, books, quotes from those times...and we stayed there for couple of hours, eating, drinking, catching up with my best 4 friends that i havent seen for 6 months...we got drunk and after we went home, dressed up in suits and went on fancy promotion and coctail of one of the most popular singers in Macedonia...the whole jet-set from Macedonia was there... singers, actors, the president and prime-minister, politicians, CEOs...and the 5 of us:)... and a bunch of good looking girls...so after that we went partying in the clubs in Skopje...going from a club to a club, meeting interesting people, laughing a lot, drinking, dancing...having great time....
that was a perfect new years party. and for the actual new years eve, we got completly drunk, and had fun on our own. first sitting at home until 23h and then we went into the clubs...i got drunk, and i got in a mood of joking with everyone, making everyone laugh...we missed the fireworks, cause we were enjoying the party...even that noone was feeling like big selebration, the evening went perfect...so i came to conclusion that noone, or no date, or event can make good time for you, if you dont do it for your self.
D.
